We specialize in high school and early college mathematics, with emphases on Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and ACT prep.

We have been tutoring students from all across the United States since September of 2014.  Mrs. Nelson has also worked with students from China (AP Calculus) and Great Britain (A-level maths).

Rates vary based on subject and level. Contact us for pricing for your situation. Typical rates start at $50 per hour.

Your session starts with a Microsoft TEAMS meeting link sent via email shortly before the session starts. Once established as a client, it is helpful to scan any work you are currently doing (cellphone photos are fine) and send them via email or TEAMS chat, ideally before the session starts so we can dive right in to the work. When working online, we use screenwriting and sharing to work problems while discussing methods and assessing where your skills are strong and what needs improvement. Each session is tailor made to each student. Sometimes sessions consist of going over classroom assignments; other times it may be providing additional practice.

YES! We have helped many students prepare for the math section of the ACT. Our students have raised their math scores an average of 2 points after the four session ACT block.

Our preferred method of payment is Venmo, but we also accept cash (in person only), check, PayPal, and major credit cards. Payment is due at the beginning of a session or block of sessions.

Yes, depending on the situation. All students in the group must be in the same class and at the same level in order to qualify for a group discount. We also can do synchronous sessions with schools if a class is needed for a group so small that the class doesn't warrant a full-time teacher. Contact us for pricing on group sessions.
