Georgetown Math has been providing online high school math tutoring worldwide and in-person in Georgetown, Kentucky, since 2014. Our owner and head tutor has 20+ years of high school classroom experience, 5 years of university teaching experience, and 10+ years of online teaching experience.

We are the definition of a private math tutor. Our lessons are tailored to you, not canned. We talk with you to learn your strengths and past knowledge in order to make the connections that will help you succeed in your current math course and beyond. We also offer group lessons!
Meet the Team
Mrs. Darlene Nelson
Darlene Nelson started her teaching career in 1993 with Algebra 2 and Geometry. Within two years she was promoted to the primary Calculus teacher and remained in that position for 15 years. During this time she also served as the head of the Department of Mathematics, the lead Honors Geometry teacher, and district Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Nelson's students consistently raise their math ACT scores at least 2 points with her guidance, and 96% of her students have raised their grade in their math course by over 15 points. Her clients rave about her enthusiasm for math, her sense of humor, her flexibility, and her ability to meet every student at their level.
